The Office of Hispanic Ministry of the Diocese of Beaumont is in charge of evangelizing and guiding the Hispanic youth of our area in their Catholic Faith, spiritual needs, and social lives. The Hispanic youth of our nation are dealing with a problem we have not seen since the generation of the early 21st century, in which many European immigrants found refuge in the young United States. Even then, immigrants were far from their homelands, so adapting to a new culture was a more natural process. Our Hispanic youth are so close to their "old" home, that sometimes it is easier to avoid adapting to their "new" home. Feeling pressure from two cultures to choose an identity, sometimes our youth seek a place to feel welcome. PJH is that place!

La Oficina de Ministerio Hispano de la Diocesis de Beaumont está encargada de evangelizar y guiar a los jóvenes Hispanos del area, en la jornada de su Fé Católica y sus vidas espirituales y sociales. Los jóvenes Hispanos de nuestra nación se están enfrentando con un problema que no se ha visto desde la época de migración a principios del siglo 21, cuando inmigrantes européos buscaron refugio en el país jóven de los Estados Unidos. Aún entonces, los inmigrantes estaban tan lejos de sus tierras maternas que el adaptarse a la nueva cultura fue un proceso mas natural. Nuestros jóvenes hispanos están tan cerca a su "viejo" hogar que parece ser fácil evitar adaptación a su "nuevo" hogar. Al sentir la presión de dos culturas, que les exijen escojer una identidad, los jóvenes buscan un lugar para pertenecer. ¡Nuestra PJH es ese lugar!
